Eyecatchers are a totally independent optometry practice. This independence allows us to concentrate on what is best for each individual. Our role is not just about dispensing spectacles and contact lenses – it is ensuring ongoing healthy eyes and vision.
We are equipped with modern diagnostic instrumentation, giving you quality care in eye health, digital retinal scans, macula and glaucoma assessments, contact lens fitting and optical dispensing.
The origins of Eyecatchers started 60 years ago in Chatswood.
- Mr John Simpson was with Gibb & Beeman in the 1960’s
- Mr Paul Edgar opened in the 1960’s
- Mr Robert Kaye opened in the 1970’s and is still working part time
These practices, over the years, have since combined with local optometrists:-
Mr. John Siddle, Mr Anthony Stanich, Ms. Leonie Chandler, Mr. Daniel Cornelius and Mr. Paul Robson as dispenser/mechanic.
We have been at our current location for 30 years, we are one of the oldest practices in Chatswood and on the North Shore.
Our longevity, we believe is due to honesty, integrity, accuracy and a passion for what we do.
Our patients appreciate the time and care we devote to them, with the initial consultation through to frame selection and or contact lens fittings and aftercare.
We all look forward to being of service to you!
